Comedian Kevin Hart pledged to make poker fun and it looks like his idea of fun is buying into the $300,000 Aria Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas. It's the year's biggest buy-in event and in both 2015 and 2016 it was won by a high-stakes poker pro. Hart will be up against a mixed field of elite poker pros and wealthy amateurs with a shot at the $6 million first-place prize. Hart recently penned an endorsement deal with PokerStars and has played two $100k buy-in Super High Rollers so far this year. Last year Hart ranked sixth on Forbes' highest-paid celebrities list with $87.5 million in earnings. That puts him ahead of the poker pros in the field but far short of some of the wealthy businessmen. He's still looking for his first big cash and will have a big opportunity at the SHRB on May 28. The event is being streamed live on Youtube by Poker Central and will crown a champion June 1.
